Cowboy Bob obtained his name from friends during nursing school due to his affinity for country music and cowboy boots. After his extensive career in the medical field he decided it was time to pursue his love for music and dancing.
Your DJ originally comes from Long Island, New York but is now thrilled to call Brevard County his home. He started Cowboy Bob DJ and Dance with his wife Shannon soon after moving to Palm Bay, Florida. His reputation has grown in the area as the alternative to your typical DJs. From backyard birthday parties to extravagant weddings, he is well equipped to handle any event.
You can also find him every Wednesday and Thursday evening at the County Line Saloon in Melbourne, Florida out on the dance floor, leading line dance lessons and DJing through the night. Having a history of dance instruction allows him insight into which songs motivate a dance floor for the best experience.
All too fitting, Cowboy Bob and Shannon met on a dance floor in Melbourne, Florida. After a few twirls and dips, they both knew they were right for each other. Once they realized how perfect their relationship was, they were soon planning their own wedding!
During this time together, they created Cowboy Bob DJ and Dance where Shannon became Bob’s manager and wife. With her degree in Business Management from the Florida Institute of Technology and her extensive experience in the hospitality industry, she was well prepared for the job. You’ll often find her emailing you information, suggestions, and timelines for your event. Her history with event coordination at multiple venues gives her insight into planning your special day.
